E.id is designed for use by all user groups, whether for individual or corporate use. We believe that limiting usage is not an option, thus providing convenience for e.id users.

The main feature offered by e.id is decentralized Blockchain technology for verification. Users only need to verify their identity with the e.id system, after which digital assets such as social media, crypto wallets, and internet domains can be claimed by the user to ensure ownership and authenticity.

E.id does not store user data. e.id ensures user data security by collaborating with Privy and Persona as verifiers and temporary data storage, while e.id only serves as a data processor. Read more about Privy and Persona here.

If you have registered but cannot fully enjoy e.id features, it is because you have not verified your account and identity. Please verify first in the Verification menu under Profile.

A Public Profile is a profile that is visible and can be seen freely by other users. Other users can see your digital identities that are linked to e.id.

You can claim your free e.id identity using the e.id mobile app or e.id website by verifying your ID first.

Currently, e.id supports devices such as laptops, PCs, and smartphones.

E.id is a Blockchain technology specifically developed to manage digital identities such as social media, crypto wallets, or even internet domains that you own, to be linked into a unified e.id Digital Identity. Your digital identity can then be verified within e.id to ensure ownership, guaranteeing authenticity, and preventing identity theft in the digital world.

In e.id, you can hide the digital wallets you link to e.id by accessing Settings, then Preferences, and in Account Settings, disable the Public Profile Setting option.

Steps to Renew Your Identity:

1. Log in to the application e.id (e.id).

2. Navigate to the Identity menu.

3. Find the identity record that is about to expire or has already expired, then click the gear icon on the right.

4. Click the "Renew" button.

5. Choose your preferred payment method.

6. Complete the payment. Your identity will be automatically renewed once the payment is successful.

Social media verification is important so that other users can assess and understand that if there is a social media account impersonating someone, the verification can be done through e.id to check if the account is affiliated with the concerned person.

Social media verification is a way for a user to claim ownership of a social media account. This way, other users can understand that the social media account is trustworthy and the ownership is confirmed to be legitimate.

Domain name verification can enhance the reputation of the domain name and prevent misuse of the domain name by irresponsible parties.
